    Hi peeps,

Wondering if anyone has some suggestions for our problem at work...

We are getting several PC's, where USB printers seem to "lose" their driver every time you plug them in the "found new hardware" wizard pops up, I install the printer from the driver already on the PC and it works fine. As soon as you unplug the device and plug back in the wizard pops back up and you need to reinstall again.

    Any suggestions are welcomed.

Is your company in the habit of write protecting areas of the registry with group policies ?

Do you think HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\LPTENUM is protected or corrupt ?
