Cockles is - I'm sad to say - actually quite close to my real name. I also suffer from other derivatives featuring the word '****', such as '****-nose' (from Bo Selecta) and Cockworthy, to name but a few. TC is one of my favourites as it is the least offensive, and can pretend it's bacuase people clal me Top Cat, which couldn't be further from the truth.

 

I remember **** nose from bo selecter, I actually know a guy who is called **** cheese am not sure why & don't really want to find out

Was a puppet on the telly called kevin the Kitten, turned into Kat. People still call me Kat, my school mates kids shout out Uncle Kat when they see me in the street!!

Almost forgot... SOMEBODY on here calls me "Flameforker". I've also been called variants of Snowman (Snowman, Snow, Snokus Aurelius) due to my pleasantly dark (hah!) skin tone.

 

I've been called "Geek" since before Anthony Michael Hall was born, and I've been part of a "geek squad" before Best Buy existed.

 

I've been known as GiddyG, Giddy, Gidders, Gid, LittleJohn (my Dad is also John), Junior and JJ (if people really want to piss me off- John Junior).

Giddy is fine (or John).

derkit - a nickname that stuck with me from my time at school around 15/16 I guess. My name being Derek, a rather nice girl use to call me deggit (???), someone else came up with derkit. Rather boring story, but thats the way it crumbles!

 

Nothing spectacular here. IRL I am Martien, but my first name with baptisme is Martinus, hence the Tinus. I am born in 1959.
I seldom use other names except in a language group on usenet. There my nick is "Raffinement, 'n gave"
(being slick is a gift). This is in fact an anagram of my name "Martien van Geffen"
When I need a name for a mail account, and do not want to give out my real address I use a fake as Harry Handrem (Harry Handbrake).

Jonny because that's my name.
MX because if Macromedia... er... Adobe... can make something better by putting 'MX' after the name, I thought it might work for me too.

Incidentally, I since found out that JonnyMX is a motorcross rider in the US with a fair fan following, so not all JonnyMX's you see out there are me!
