If I am understand right quotes do not go in the css style sheet right?

So I am wondering why they have me putting quotes around 2 of the font styles in my (css missing manual book on pg 65)?

    Hi Mitzs,
It may be because they have a space in the names.

    Try to write like this - "arial-black" , "ceuntry-gothic" , "comic-sans" .

Because the CSS doesn't support or handle the ("") quotes.

That is what I thought, thats why I didn't understand why he was telling me to do it on my stylesheet and the book did not explain his reasoning either.

I think NB is correct here Mitzs, the quotes are because there is a space in the name.

CSS does support quotes in this context..

Check this link and look at the @font-face rule at the bottom, you will see the author doing the same thing..

PS the whole site is full of useful info. check it out.

Yes, you guys are right. He tell us in chapter 6 that the quotes are for words with spaces in them. Would have been nice if he would have told us that as we were doing it!:dry

Yes, that would have been the common sense way to teach it Mitzs but where is the fun in that? :)
