Interview went extremely well. I met the owner of the company, but I will be based at the client's site, working with 4 others. Meeting the client sometime next week for an informal chat. Role sounds very basic, but with plenty of scope to learn and increase resposibilities. Study materials/exams paid for.

He actually made a comment about my persistence lol, said it was a good thing and impressed him, and everything on my CV was really positive.

All in all pretty happy, just want to chat with the client now to find out more about the role/responsibilities. Don't like the sound of it being basic, but i think it is a necessary step to becoming a proper network engineer ! despite the fact i'll probably be doing less advanced stuff than i have done where i am now.

Had my interview with the client yesterday, just got a call to say i'm being offered the job....

Just awaiting the written offer.

Seems that interviews and new jobs are becoming somewhat contagious round here lately

So, is it more wonga? Server work, 1st, 2nd Line etc.

haven't confirmed salary yet, but i expect around £3k more, plus offshore rate, on call and overtime!

It's Juinior network engineer role, working in a team of 4 network engineers, pretty basic network stuff, but there is plenty work so the more i show i can do the more i will get to do! They have a huge network so will be great to work on and learn i think!
