Has anyone got sky? Just watching the new Flash Gordon series on Sci Fi Channel. Not sure what to make of it...:hhhmmm Is anyone else watching it?

Yeah just having a watch of it, seems a bit poo but I'll say more after I have watched all of the first one.

 

I agree, the special effects are good but, it seems more like quantum leap than flash gordon

 

yep but still not as good as quantumn leap I shall not be watching it again.

 

I have already watched the entire 1st series...and I loved it...i certainly cant fault it...im just waiting for the moment Ming turns green... hahaha...just enjoy it people...its great

 

I thought it was crap, I'd rather watch the film with Sam Jones and Max Von Sydow.

 

i need to dig that out and watch it...just to remind me of the way it was done back in the day

 

but ming doesn't look menacing enough! he looks like a talk show host, infact he does look like that guy who played Hercules (but without the muscles)

I don't think they can replace it with the new version on the TV series.

True I'd rather watch Hero's than another episode of Flash Gordon. Then again maybe they are stretching it out to make 5 series. Like they did with stargate. That was a bit pants when that started out too!

 

I have never watched heroes because of my crazy shifts everything I would watch, is on when I'm at work.

I have been watching the Sarah Connor Chronicles it seems quite good so far.

 

Word of warning: thats only 9 episodes long due to the writers strike earlier...the last episode is being aired in the states tonight...although it is 8 episodes long the season finale is in fact 2hrs long...so i make it 9 episodes lol...

 

I doubt it'll go on for long anyway, there is so many times a cyborg from the future comes back to kill some bloke before people begin to get suspicious.

 

thats true...although its still the same cyborg chasing John so we'll see what happens next...
