Well that's it, I have finally decided to do it, get started on that physics degree.

I have just enrolled myself into an OU physics degree course, as if I don't have enough on my plate.

I blame a few of my students for this, I won't name names but they know who they are.

I mean, Quantum Mechanics how hard can that be ! just a bit of particle entanglement and a dab of probability waves, sounds like a piece of cake!!,

 

You'll be working at CERN next !

 

At the moment it is goal to achieve as it is something I have always wanted to do, once I gain the degree I will reassess my options, with the OU it can take anything up to 6-10 years to gain the degree, it's a lot of work and a lot of study, I aim to stick in around 2/3 hours per day 7 days per week. The goal is to knock on the head in about 4 years and then poss a masters, who knows. When I consider the amount of time I spend reading scientific journals, magazines and books etc it seems possible. I have no life in any event so no loss there.

As for working at CERN , I doubt it, I am quite clumsy so best to steer clear of that one, It'd be like the father Ted episode on the plane and Dougal spots the big red "do not press" button and presses it, that'll be me !!.

 

Why Fizzicks not networking?

I know what you mean mate. I took on an OU programming module recently. I suddenly realised a couple of weeks ago that I'm gonna have to do some work! The bloody cheek of it!

 

Fizzicks? I believe thats a misspell of the word "physics". Bad spelling?...are you sure you would'nt be more suiting to Engineering? ;)
