I am currently looking to start the road to the MCSE, getting the MCSA would be a great start.

I plan to do the following in this order

70-270 Installing, Configuring, and Administering Microsoft Windows XP Professional
70-290 Managing and Maintaining a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Environment
70-291 Implementing, Managing, and Maintaining a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Network Infrastructure
70-299 Implementing and Administering Security in a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Network

I am going to buy the books from Amazon, starting with the XP one until I pass it.

Has anyone done the security one?

    Thanks

    Andy

i think thats a good path and a good idea to buy the books as you go along... make sure they the new 2nd edition versions if you using MS press....

any reason why you chose the 299?

Im guessing the ones on Amazon are the up to date ones?

I thought the 299 for something different and im curious as I like the idea of a security consultant :D

Always go of the ISBN- sometimes you can almost buy an out of date book.
