Well after two weeks off I'm finding monday morning that little bit too slow, not much to do today so looks like surfing the internet for me.

4 major systems down - it has been fun.

The early morning panic over it has been a quiet afternoon

Rung my ISP between Xmas and New Year - they said they were rushed off the feet... we had 20 calls one day for all of our systems in England!!!

No dout he has a major router to play with ...

I would but there at home, A few jobs have come in now and put a hold on my playtime for now

 

Still trying to wake up on my end. Just a little after 8 a.m. here. Feels funny not to be in "the office". I could have stayed in bed but I have a ton to do today. Gotta apply for unemployment but I can do that online now. Got a couple of new writing assignments and one of them will require somebody (can't say who) to ship me a really nice, top of the line switch to play with <yum>. I've been thinking about Gav, too. Hope he's making out ok. I'm really excited...kind of like a Dad who's kid has gotten his first "grown up" job. I can't wait to hear what he has to say about it.

 

Well first day back, new clothes and positive attitude ....... and I am already going home early sick!

Things here are quiet - seems to be a flu bug going around so all my students are also sick. So catching up on a bit of study here before all the work starts to pile in again
