At last I passed 291 today with a score of 750 . This was my 3rd go at the monster . Last time I sat this exam was back in November and didn’t have the time to do it again. Just want to say a big thanks to you all for helping me with my exam prep.

Any tips on what to look out for?

 

Yeah I would say you have to be confident with DNS (both the theory and doing) and I had lots of questions on RAS and security. I did MS course 2277B which was of very little help in the real exam, but I read syngress 291 book very good, hope that helps you.

Syngress books are the absolute nuts.

I've got about twenty of them covering various topics (most of them security-related, obviously) and they are all, without exception, fantastic.

Congratulations on the pass! I remember how stoked I was when I passed 70-216 - I couldn't believe it - never been as nervous as I was filling out the stupid gumph at the end of the test while I waited for my result!!

 

I had in mind the exam related ones, as not many people here seem to use them. But yes, their "series" of security books is absolutely fantastic, a real paradise!

 

just wish i knew the syngress book was that good!
