    Hi everyone

As the title says, I've just got my first job as a 2nd/3rd line support technician for a brilliant company. :D YAY! Started preparing my CV already so I know what to aim for.

I am going to get back into education and look into MCSE/MCITP again while learning as much as 3rd line at work as possible.

The question I had was... Hopefully, I plan my next job (in 4 years?) to be in 3rd Line support and have a MCSE/MCTIP certification. Is it wrong to have a 3 page CV by then? or is 2 page the maximum?

    Thanks in advance

Generally speaking you should keep it to a 2 page CV, older jobs should have less and less information by them (going from a paragraph down to a single line for example).

It's only when you get to be a very senior consultant that your cv can be expected to be larger than 2 pages but again not usually more than 3 or 4 (to give you an example, my cv is still 2 pages long).

Thats good advice Simon. Thanks. I have chopped off some usless stuff from my first job which was quite repetitive.
