FAT16, FAT32 and port numbers, IRQ

    Does the A+ explain all these ie what FAT16 etc are?

    And what the port numbers correspond to?

    Also the IRQ settings?

    Yes - probably - depending on which book. If you mean the Mike Meyers All in One then definitely yes.

    Agreed with Hbroomhall, the 6th edition all in one book does

    I finished the hard drive chapters a little while ago, massive amounts on FAT, NTFS and partitioning

    IRQ etc are all covered

    as for port numbers, havnt come across anything about them yet

    Cheers Guys I tend to forget and get mixed up with the differences between the FAT, I am going to but the A+ book shortly I just wanted to make sure it was all in there.:D

    While I'd agree that that book is one of the best *don't* assume that it is the only source of info you will need for the exam! :biggrin
