I failed 70-271. I went in with the total wrong attitude of "i know it all". I think the questions were harder than the practise one's I did, and about 70% were network connectivity based. Luckily I have a second free shot.

We all fail at times, so best just to put this one down as experience, and go all out in your study for your retake.

Bets of luck for your next attempt

I've failed 70-291 myself. A friend of mine did exactly the same thing going into 70-270 XP config, install etc and also failed. Just goes to show that you need to study hard even if you work with the technology. Best of luck next time

    Hey,

Gutted for you that you failed but as you say at least you have the free retake, so no loss financially at least - what score did you get? When I studied I found the best way was to find as many practise tests as I could, and there would undoubtedly be areas where you were obviously weaker, so just bone up on these before the next one, so it's all fresh in your mind when you go in.

Best of luck for the next one too :)

I found chapter 10 in the US Based Microsoft Pressbook on Supporting Network Connectivity was the best part of the book and helped with all those questions - bone up on this chapter and you should be ready for your second shot.

    Good luck!:thumbleft

Cheers guys. I got 531 or something so I have quite a bit of brushing up to do.

I am going to try master ch 10. I did find most questions were on that topic.
