Not to worry mate, you'll sort it next time and you didn't fail by much. Hit the books hard and get back in for it when you feel ready.

Unlucky mate, at least you know what to expect now and can prepare even better.

To someone just starting the 70-680 any advice? What books did you use? I'm trying to figure out the best resources to use. Any advice is most appreciated. Cheers.

Make sure you go through the exam requirements and use it as a kind of tick list. You may find stuff in there the book doesn't mention.

Yes, I agree. There's certainly more 'reading around' of the subject needed in these newer exams and this one's not easy!

I definitely found the 680 'half' of the 682 upgrade exam more difficult than the 685 half.

How many questions did you have? I believe they removed a bunch of SQL questions which they put in by mistake the other day. If you failed during the time the sql questions were in you get to take your exam for free.

Ive been studying hard all weekend and feel a lot better now, gonna rebook for saturday.

Had a **** time at the test centre too, prometric say to arrive 30 mins early, so i did, 15 mins later still no1 there, ring the number i have and sounds like i woke someone up, he said the door will open at 9 then go to reception. got in at 8.55 as someone else opened the door ( its a shared building) still no1 there, come 9.05 i ring the number back, no answer, then a few minutes later a bloke asks me if im here for a test, i say yes and i follow him then im made to sit outside for 10 mins while he starts his pc's up then i go in and register, then i have to wait for 5 mins while he starts the exam pcs up. think i started my 9am exam at about 9.25
