Hi, Ive been reading the threads on this certforums for a few months now and I think this site is essential for anyone considering studying towards any kind of certification - it seems theres a lot of companies out there who will take advantage of people seeking a new career, taking there money and only telling them what they want to here avoiding the hard facts.

The advice I have read has already been invaluable to me so I thought I might as well sign up!

Anyway... I am looking to begin a career in Network engineering and my plan is to gain the Comtia A+ and Network+ certificates through self-study and study towards the CCNA part-time in the evenings at a local college while seeking an entry level position.

I know it ain't gonna be easy and there maybe difficult times ahead but its no good spending your working life slaving it away in admin right?
