    Try reading the questions properly.

Sorry. Couldn't resist. Now I'll try to be more helpful.

From what I've seen to the MS questions so far in my studies there's certain things to watch out for.
There's normally some irrelevant material (e.g. You are a technician at a badger-dipping company). Identify and ignore.
There's often a key bit of information. For example, if the question tells you the user has XP Home you can be fairly sure the answer will involve some difference between Home and Pro.

I've always been given a laminated piece of paper with a dry-wipe marker.

Also, I thought those parts of the questions that tell you what your role are, help you identify how much you are supposed to do... (In regards to MCDST- 'ask the admin to..')

The sentence I gave was just an example of something that supplies no relevant information. I'm a tech, no surprise there. Badger-dipping has no relevancy, and no indication of the size of the company is given. I wasn't saying that every sentence about your role and the nature/size of the company could be ignored.
If I hadn't been lazy and only given one example that might have been clearer.

Pah. You don't need the note paper for either the 271 or the 272. It's there just because.

The only possible reason I can think of requiring it would be to work out combined share/NTFS permissions but... meh.

The best of luck for tomorrow. :)

the only exam I have used the laminated paper and marker in was the A+.

I wrote down all the IRQs. Never used it in the N+ or 70-271.

    Good luck :)

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

As stupid as this sound's, I actually LOL'd at "badger-dipping company", brilliant :biggrin

But back to the topic, in all honesty mate, just relax for tonight, do NOT try cramming in some extra revision (if I was you, I find it makes stuff worse, just let your mind relax)

We've all been in the situation for the first exam, and if you look up some old topics I started for 70-270, you can probably tell that I was absolutely bricking it, no doubt.

And everything we tell you will maybe not put your mind at ease because you have yet to go in and do the exam.

If I was you I would do this, go of the forums, sit down, chuck on a movie and just forget about it all, I assure you when you pop into that exam tomorrow (if you've studied the material) it will all just become so clear to you.

You dont have to, but please relax :biggrin

I wish I listened to people more when I was told to 'relax', but we live and learn.

And yes I agree with everyone else, take your time, read the questions and pick out the relevant information, I cannot stress that enough.

Best of luck mate and let us know how you get on!

(And to reiterate my point to death.. RELAX!)

I made someone laugh. That's made my day. :biggrin
I also agree with the relax thing. I finish studying normally around 4-5 the evening before an exam. If it's not in my long-term memory by then...
