    hey guys

i have just started preparing for my CCNA INTRO exam. On CISCO's website i saw that exam 640-821 is retiring. What i am fumbled about is that i cant see any exam that is replacing it. I was wondering if any of you could help me with that. cheers

It's on Cisco's Web site, here. To summarize:

    - 640-821 INTRO is being replaced by 640-822 ICND1
    - 640-811 ICND is being replaced by 640-816 ICND2

I have my intro, but not my ICND. I doubt i'm going to finish the icnd in time so where do i stand?

Can i just get the icndv2 or do i need both.

In which case i'm probably better just doing 1 full exam.

You can mix and match, so you can take ICND2. Old INTRO + New ICND2 = CCNA, so you're good to go. :)

That said, you won't be eligible for the CCENT unless you specifically take ICND1. No big deal for you, probably. :)
