I found this now it realtes to XP but it could relate to Vista SP1

The 619 error is an error that's given from the Windows XP Service Pack that you're using. Basically, you have 2 open communication ports, such as your Laptop's internal modem and your Datacard.

To overcome this, you'll need to disable your internal modem.

Right Click on My Computer (on your Desktop)
    Properties
    Click the Hardware Tab
    Device Manager
You'll then need to find your modem, right click the disable.

    Is it an internal modem?

If it is try taking it out then boot up then shut down reinstall and see if that works.

    AArcher,

Try asking your "...mobile broadband..." ISP if Vista is supported?

I encountered this very error when configuring a new laptop running Vista Business SP1 for a member of staff. The laptop had an internal 3g modem. Error 619 only occured when using the Windows interface for connecting the device, whereas if I used Vodafone software just once, the device not only worked, but would then allow the Windows interface to connect as well. It's almost as if some sort of Auto-config had run from the Vodafone software.

    Hope this is helpful matey.
