Read the book or take a course, sit the exam 8)

Usually you would start with a client based exam (ie: 70-680:configuring Windows 7), then work your way up to Server/Enterprise Admin (depending on your job role).

The first 2 MS exams to get you MCITP : Support Technician recommends 12-18months experience

    This should help you: http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_IGM0FlQXyB8/TDWaZoLiNeI/AAAAAAAAAE4/raekoTXkGsI/s1600/ICT.png
