Us Welshies just LUUUURVE the Brazilians right now..isn't it?

Oh and by the way I expect some repetoire from the English contingency when Wales hump the Czechs tomorow night.

    Beer anyone?

You and me must have been watching different games then chum! :biggrin

Nicely taken goal from Terry, but apart from a couple of other decent balls in from GoldenBollocks, England created next to nothing all game, and couldn't string more than five passes together in Brazil's half. They weren't much better either - a bit of poncing about from Jar Jar and some decent runs from Kaka aside.

    Typical international friendly really.

Bright spots for England were Shorey having a decent debut, Gerrard proving that he is head and sholuders above Fat Frank as a player and that clown Wes Brown making a bad enough ricket to hopefully convince McClueless and Vegetables that he should never pull on an England shirt again. Ditto Smith.

Goals in extra time don't count  :p

I understand what you're saying about the relative poorness of the game, Zeb, but I wasn't expecting anything frenetic with it being a friendly. The finest example of this was pulling off Terry for a tight hamstring.

It was just nice to see them seem to start pulling together; the only way I think McClaren should change the squad is to have a different combination up front; I don't think Smith is half as effective up front as he is chasing from the midfield.

The defensive display was robust enough, although against a somewhat lacklustre Brazil side. Kakoff wasn't to his best, and Ronaldinho was hitting every wall in site; but still, a display to that level or higher in Estonia, and we should win comfortably.

As long as we don't stand by the traditional English method of playing to the same level as your opponent....

What can I say, I'm an optimist - either that or mentally challenged. Still, wasn't a terrible performance, plenty of scope for improvement though! :)

dosen't matter either way England where Shite.

If this was and World cup qualifier, we would have had to go to extra-time and then penalties.

no prizes then what would have happened!!!!

We were crap and that's it.

    New manager???????
