    Hi all,

    just wondering if anyone on here has a Nokia E61?? I do, and it's great apart from a niggly problem i cant work out... Have posted on Nokia forums but nothing as yet...

    Hi Cheek,
    when i get a txt from someone not in contacts and add them to contacts with their name, when i go back to txt inbox its still just their number.......... its drivin me mad..

    I had this problem with my N70, it depends where you save the contacts. You have to store them in the phone or sim card memory, not the extra memory card. 8)

    have tried that, although i'll do it again... Ya right its someting like that, that will sort it im sure.. let ya know.

    Kat, not sure how similar the phones are but on my phone if you go into contacts and then click on options. Go to SIM contacts and then SIM directory and that should look up the contacts on your SIM card.

    I *think* that’s how I fixed it last time. :blink

    Edit: you also have the option of 'copy', if you select all of your contacts you can move them all from the sim card or to the memory card. I remember having to move all of my contacts last time
