I have been thinking of getting Dying Light but want any opinions of people have played it before I do.

It looks quite good but tbf so did Watch Dogs and I played an hour of it before I got bored. I don't want the same thing to happen with Dying Light

Watch Dogs.. so laggy on the PC... ruined the experience for me...

Dying Light looks good, curious to see myself if it's any good.

Is it out? I find that once you've played one zombie survival game, you've played them all. WD was really good IMO probably the best game to release in 2014 IMO.

Yeah good shout asking this to be honest. I thought watchdogs was garbage. Not laggy at all on PS4, just not very good, or perhaps too much hype. I really loved the look of The Evil Within, another one I've played now and then when I'm bored but overall a dud. Dying light looks great but I can't be bothered wasting more money. If nothing comes out I can see me waiting for Dead Island 3, which I just know is going to be absolutely superb. I loved the first two. I think if you combine killing zombies with modified weapons, you're onto a winner :)

My problem is I tend to always go for the special edition releases of games (WD for me was the big one with the figure inside the box), in fact I still have a sealed collectors edition of Star Wars The Old Republic sitting around here, I just never got in to it after having played the beta but had already pre-purchased the game.

Ah mate I haven't got into all of that for that reason. Some of the special editions and boxed games are so ace, it would gut me to open them I think. Closest I get to collectors edition is like "game of the year" edition ha ha poor mans gamer. I do love a bargain though :)

The thing is WD was seriously over-hyped so it had alot to live up to. Im hesitant in preordering a game these days I would read alot of reviews and watch alot of gameplay before buying dying light for full retail. I bet my last £ it will drop 40-50% in price after two months of launch.

Same here mate. I don't think I've got anything on my PS4 I love and because I've got into buying digital downloads I can't even flog them on when they're duffers :(

Staying on topic is hard right now so I apologise to Simon...I really think they need to implement away we can resell digital downloads! I do advise against digital for the none resell reason and the fact you're paying more.

Fair point mate, to stay on topic I have decided I will buy Dying Light once it drops in price. I also agree a way to sell digital downloads would be great although how you would manage that I don't know

I have a few ideas, maybe creating some kind of seller marketplace on XBL.

Well don't forget to have a look at g2a.com which is where I would be buying the game from anyway, they have some decent discounts going there, I purchased a 2 year Xbox Gold account from them last year, no issues at all.

They are good, never had an issue with them, there was some talk with Steam blocking certain keys as they were stolen but on the whole they have been really good.

Watch it on Twitch for a bit to make your opinion. It looks good, but the gameplay seems quite repetitive.
