    Hi All,

Would anybody have a guide handy about dual boot systems and what I should know for the O/S A+ ?

I am thinking about how to install and use dual boot O/S on a hard drive.

    Thanks for any help ,

PC 911 is my favorite site for this sort of thing. Here's a couple of their links:

I spent alot of time on the site when I was studying for my A+. It looks a little more "slick" nowadays so I don't know how much they've changed. I do like the collection of HOW TOs on basic, down to earth tasks, tho. Let me know if it's helpful. :)

    Thanks tripwire.

On another subject could you advise me on what to learn as minimum hardware requirements for installing the different versions of windows ? I keep finding different values all over the web and in the Meyers book.

Do you have a good place where I can learn these from ?

Don't worry if you've had enough of my questions - just ignore me !

    Hi,

I, too found this and it drove me crackers :x
Some people list what they think you should use as a minimum and some list the official requirements.
As far as the exam is concerned they will usually put it to you so you have to know the minimum RAM, HDD and Processor.

    Hope this helps

Mmmmm the questions on this topic need to be simpler :

What do you need to install windows 2000 ?

    a) A texas calculator with extra ram

    b) A computer

    c) A small banana

    d) Coffee

That would be much better :biggrin
