sounds mucho interesting

 

it would be nice in this webified age if drivers had an extension to thier information fields so that in addition to 'version' you would find things like 'upgrade url' which could tie into an RSS like feed that the driver could check for its own updates

so say, a promise sata driver would know to check promise.com/drivers/updates.rss?sata150tx4_en_windows for its drivers
the RSS feed ofcourse pointing to the download URL
