    Aloha,

Can anyone save me from my own stupidity?

I recently installed XP on two systems - 1 week apart. I use a USB pendrive with various drivers etc on it and left it installed during installation. When It came to format I wondered what this small memory extra was and formatted it, to which I got an error. After XP installed I can detect the device but get the message this device is not formatted, and if I select format I get the message "windows is unable to format this device"

I had kinda written off the drive and got another one, only to do the same thing yesterday! I realise it has to be FAT etc, anyone know of any way to format these USB drives?

    Any help most appreciated
