I remember when I had xp and I could get Ashampoo for free, now I have windows 8 and have to pay, I'm all for paying for things but I'd prefer to get a freebie. Does anyone know of any free software? I've downloaded two products to only find they will scan my PC yet ask me to pay for the fix.

you can try this, it will scan your computer and fix errors automatically, you can restore the changes if you don't like the changes. This may be useful to you: dllexeerrorfixer.com thank you
