Hi Guy's/Girl's, got a strange problem - anyone experienced this?...

The Document's Folder re-direction doesn't work properly with Windows 7.

    Set-up:

    Client: Windows 7
    Domain/Forest: Windows 2008 r2
Server where Doc's is redirected to: Server 2008

    Info:
    1. GPO is set up correctly (imo) as it works with no problems with XP - all folders redirect correctly.
    2. Even though the Documents folder doesn't redirect; all other sub-folders do, ie Music, Pictures, and Music (the policy in the GPO is set to "Follow the Documents Folder").
    3. I have installed the Windows Search on the server and have indexed the data drives where the redirection is being stored.

At some point we will have to upgrade our fileserver to R2, but not at this moment in time.

Not sure but could it be something to do with the default settings within windows or possibly junction settings?
