    These days your MCP welcome kit is a certificate and a credit sized card with your name and MCP Id on :biggrin

    Yeah, they use to send out lapel pins with every new cred you earned. Stopped a couple of years ago.

    I'm gonna make one that says 'I'm an IT Pro!' in bright colours and use it like a Jedi mindtrick on unsuspecting recruiters...:D

    I've got a little collection of them.
    Horrible sharp little things.

    The only place I can imagine them being worn is in Microsoft HQ.

    They seem to like things like that...

    The SS were fond of little badges on their lapel ha ha Maybe thats why they were ditched! :p

    Didn't you get any of magnetic ones? They were better (not by much), however I could use them if I ever did go to a Star Trek convention :biggrin

    why would you want a badge saying your an MCP? you'd get the pi$$ taken out of you if you were working were I do.

    I believe you still get ITIL ones. Certainly you did when i passed mine. You get invited to send off for your free badge when you get your certificate. I think i am a green badge? Strangely i never sent off for mine...did consider it for humour...

    The trainer we had did wear his ITIL Service Manager badge...

    I requested my ITIL badge, not so much because I had to have it, more along the lines of "I paid x amount for the exam, I'm going to get everything owing" :)

    I know what you mean, sadly my imitation gold Sun tie pins really don't do justice to the £150 exam fee...:cry:

    Does anyone actually wear tie pins anyway ?
