Responsibilities: Streamline in house engineering operational practices and drive continuous improvements in quality, reliability and efficiency. Perform system analysis, monitoring and performance tuning. Collaborate well across global organization members of internal engineering and management teams regarding to design , develop , debug and dynamic scale out robust infrastructure as a service, address dynamic service requests with sense of urgency to ensure zero downtime. Manage engineering dependencies on back-end infrastructure and work with team of system administrators to maintain and upgrade operational environments without outages. Develop tooling to aid in infrastructure development. Identify and troubleshoot technical issues. Author, manage and document existing and new configuration management frameworks, processes and policies.

Basic Requirements:

. Requires a Master’s degree in the related field of Computer Science or a comparable qualification

. 5+ years of experience in the field of IT Linux System Administration

. Hands-on technical practitioner and individual contributor


Experience nice to have:

. Experience in building sophisticated and highly automated infrastructure

. Experience with Chef, Puppet, Salt, or Ansible in production environments with many nodes

· Ability to code and script (bash, perl, python, ruby etc.)

. Experience with revision control source code repositories (Git, SVN, Mercurial, Perforce)

· Monitoring and maintaining resources like AWS (ELB, Route53 etc.), containers and instances

. Knowledge of IP networking, VPN's, DNS, load balancing and firewalling

· Comfort with with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment

· Understanding of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA and REST)

. Modern software development with agile practices with CI/CD pattern

. Active open source contributor

. Management of continuous integration servers like Jenkins, Bamboo and TeamCity
