Dell XPS L720x - 550m Overclock or not?

Just bought a 17" XPS L702x laptop.
i7 @ 2.2ghz, 6Gig Ram, and a 550m Graphics.
The general consensus is that by overclocking it you effectively get a 555m.
There's some videos about with instructions for using msi afterburner to do it.

Opinions: i know it will void the warranty - but is it worth it?
Has anyone overclocked their card using afterburner?
What's the overall difference?

Ive never over-clocked anything I've owned, Ive had no need to do so. What did you do in the end?
