Is there a variation on the debug command I can use to show any incoming ping/ICMP comands on a routers interfaces. I'd like to use this to verify some test configurations I've been doing with NAT and PAT.

Thanks very much in advance for any help offered.

    Alex.

Can you run a packet logger on the network to view the packets as they go in and out of the router. Something like Wireshark for example.

Thanks for the replies, I hadn't actually come across the Cisco master list of debug commands previously.

Documentation's all over Cisco's Web site. Google for debug, and use the site:cisco.com keyword to limit searches to cisco.com. Easy as can be!

Google is an IT pro's best friend, bar none.

Yeah cos for the peeps that "run the Internet" they sure as hell have the slowest website on the bloody thing...

*sorry - I'm having problems with a Cisco load balancer at the mo and if they can't sort out their own back yard what hope is there for the rest of us?!
