Heres one for the techys out there.

I have a wireless connection in the house, basically its a talk talk outer, so not very good. Also next to it is a 42 inch plasma telly, which when it get switched on it interupts the siganl and we cant get on the internet. Now the router still talks to the computer but for some reason it stops all internet traffic.

The only thing i can think of is that the router broadcasts on a 2.4 ghz frequency, and maybe the telly does as well, and thats where the clashes of signals is happening, anyone know of anything simialer???

The only way a TV system would interfere with a WiFi signal normally would be if it incorporated a "Video sender". Those things often kill WiFi.

Why not experiment with moving the router away from the TV?

Try changing the channel your router broadcasts on. They are normally set to 11 by default, set it to the other end of the scale, see if it helps.
