    Ok folks im halfway through my access course and im on the IT mods. On one of the quetions im asked to create diagrams or screenshots in how to tell people how to naviaget the web etc.
    How wuold i go about creating a screenshot and then being able to type in the text to explain what is going on etc

    Press Print Screen on the Keyboard, go open up Paint or simillar, select Paste, save the file.

    Alternatively If you're writing a report you could simply Press Print Screen and then right click on the work doc and Paste.

    id use the prt scr button on keyboard and paste it into word of varoius screen shots and then do a little bit a of writing to describe whats going on etc..do a load of step by steps like this.

    OK guys im doing what you said but when i press print screen required, nothing much is happening and it wont let me open it in paint after ive saved it on the desktop??

    Any ideas

    Printscreen puts a copy of the current desktop/window in the clipboard. You should then be able to paste it into another app.

    Paint is a crap graphics prog to do things in - download Irfanview - it's free.

    Cheers Harry, downloaded that Irfanview and it's solved my lack of print screen key that I mentioed in another thread. Has a nice screen capture feature built in 8)
