Currently am about to complete Network+ and intend to study towards MCSA. Am i right thinking that it is best to start with 70-270 exam? Also which book is better the MSPress or Sybex?

    Cheers

Starting with 70-270 is the route most students take. Some prefer to take 70-290 first. It depends a bit on how experianced you are. Most students have a fair knowledge of XP because they also use that at home.
About the books: if you have the option, I would say use them both. You will see the same story told in a different way.

I agree with Tinus about the book.
About the route i my choice was starting with the 290 and so on.
I will take the 270 for the last, hoping there will be the possibility
to be tested on Vista instead.
Study for studying i would prefer to learn something new.
    Have a nice day

    Howdy,

Have you considered the "MCDST" - this is good as the two exams for it give you the title and show that you are confident with desktop support, but they are an easy (ish) introduction to Microsoft exams...and, they also count towards MCSA...worth a thought!

    Cheers,

How does the MCDST fit in to the MSCA is it an elective?

    ( I want to use my A+ & N+ as my elective)
