Does anyone know if it is possible to convert data in a table in Word into an Access database? Oh, yeah and if you do know then please can you also tell me how to do this. - I have an over-curious student so any responses here would be great!

Rosy, one way I've just tested with office 2003 which works is as follows.

Saved the word document as html
    created a new access database
went to file > Get external Data > Import....
found the word html file and followed the wizard

Two things I'm not sure of though

    1) whether this will work on earlier versions of office, should do but you never know :)
    2) How it will behave if there is a lot of text outside the tables, you would probably be best removing all the data outside the word tables you didn't want to import before saving as html

Phil, Just tried this in Word 2000 and it worked ok and also I know that the individual just has a large table and no text around it so no problems!

    Thank you soo much. 8)
