Right - this is really annoying me now :x

How can I place a shortcut to the Control Panel on the desktop in XP Pro ? It was a snap in w2k - just open Control Panel. right-click on the main icon, and click Send to Desktop. But XP ain't playing ball with me on this one

    Any ideas, Folks ?

With the control panel open and restored down so you can see the desktop and the open control panel. Click and drag the icon in the top left of the titlebar onto your desktop.

OK, hold the Front Page !!! I found it. :D

It's simply done just by going to Folder Options in Explorer, choose "Show Control Panel in My Computer", then from My Computer, do the right-click, create shortcut thing.
