computer refuse to boot when ipod plugged in

when i switch system on with ipod plugged into usb it won't go past the post screen.


when i unplug it and reset it works fine.

why would this happen?

Just a guess, but as modern day BIOS's have the ability to boot from USB, presumably the computer is trying to boot from the Ipod.

If you leave it plugged in does the PC not boot after a while? (BIOS Boot Order)

i have never just left it long enough to try, i lose my patience and reset the system after unplugging the ipod.

i will try this when it close down next time to see if it eventually boots up
