Hi guys,

Been studying like crazy for my A+ ever since I passed the MCDST on the 6th. Got it booked for this coming Thursday and was wondering if there's such a thing as an online transcript or CompTIA's equivalent of one?

Do you get a score sheet print out at the end detailing the various sections of the exam like you do with the MS ones?

Do you get an actual certificate? Or do you have to purchase one?

Its just the same as MS exams but you catually get a certificated posted to you within 6 weeks of passing.

 

You'll get a login for the comptia website too, where you can get digital versions and publish your credentials to future employers

One more question:

Does your score show up on your transcript? Or is it like the MS transcript where it's not shown....?

 

yes it shows up. You get the report after you finish the exam it will say what you score is then wether it is a pass or not. You will also have a link to the compTIA site where your transcript is and that will show wether you have passed or failed.

If you passed then expect a certificated between 4 - 8 weeks later usually its about 6.

Was a lot easier than expected too, phew.
