I've got all three of the A+ certs, and can tell you that it's not a 'complete rip off'. If you're planning to get a job as a system builder, then this cert is much more relevant to you. It focuses less on soft skills, and more on topics such as processor sockets, general hardware design etc. Whatever the case, it's still an A+ certification, but is more specific to technical people.
