    Hi everyone,

Haven't been here for a while, studied for my A+ and passed there on Friday.

    653 for Hardware

    668 for OS

I took an intensive study course which can last for up to 13weeks but I have sat both exams in 4 weeks, now doing MCP XP.

I know the scores ain't pretty high but I don't care I am just happy and pleased to be heading towards some certs which I could use to get a job.

Congrats on the pass. And you don't have to reveal the pass scores and they aren't on the actual certificate!

Congrats on the pass mate 8)

Yes it's *Dancing Baby* and I believe it was the Ally Mcbiel show that first introduced it but over the past few years it has cropped up as ani gifs and screensavers etc on the net.

    Hi again,

Just found out or stumbled upon the fact that 'testking' appears to be regarded as braindumps, I have found how CF feel about these but don't not want to be banned etc so hear me out guys.

In my training I received a one week long training session with an MCT for the hardware course backed up by a manual and various study guides and exam crams, the following week of study I referred to the materials and used the testking mock exams and then sat the tests.

Pass marks are in my first post, I did the same with the OS, another training week and guide etc the materials were fairly comprehensive 400 odd pages, the Trainer extremely knowledgeable and accessible who brought in components, done presentations and talked us through practical exercises on our own machines.

I am not new to PC's and have used them for over 6 years daily, if placed in a workplace I could perform the tasks asked of me regardless of the testking exams so please don't hate me :(

Meant to also add that I had 30 day accounts for Measureup and I used techexams as well as cert21 although it is very americanised.

Liam are you saying that your MCT instructor gave you the braindumps? If so, he needs to be reported.

Braindumps are the actual questions from Microsoft exams, hence they are copyrighted and illegal to distribute as that would constitute an infringement of Microsoft's NDA (Non discloser agreement).

We won't hate you if you promise not to use them now that you understand what they are.

No the Trainer didn't give me the, after the week of training I never seen them again, I took it upn myself to use it after searching Google for Mock tests after feeling the Measureup and technet was getting a bit repetetive.

If it's any consolation I do know my stuff on the subjects, I would ay the tests only counted for quarter of my study.

I've wanted to work with PC's for 6 years now so I wouldn;t downgrade my goals by cheating and then being useless in the field, alot rides on this for me and if I can't prove myself in the job world then I am in the s**t.

I haven't and won't use testking for my MCP, I have the 3rd Edition Sybex book and am using the disc and internet sites to help me understand the various parts, I am not too hot on combined permissions and offline folders.
