    Hello,

The book that accompanies exam 70-284 would lead me to believe that by running a full (normal) backup of my Exchange server the transaction log files would be deleted.

I have run a full back up of the MS info store and i still have the transaction logs sat in their directory.

Am I supposed to backup anything else along with the MS Info Store for the logs to be removed?

    Cheers

    Paul

Is Circular Logging enabled? How are you backing up - a third party utility or NT Backup?

    Hey Zeb,

No circular logging enabled and using NTBackup as supplied with W2K3.

Did a normal backup using the files and directories I specify. Expanded the Server Node and then selected MS Info Store.

Checked the Report afterwards and backup completed without errors.
