    Hi All

for the Cisco CCNA, how many exams do you need to take to get this status?

are the exams like microsoft exams with multiple choice?

Ive heard that there is some simulation involved

can anyone give me some info and tell me whats the best way to go about studying this?

Either 1 or 2 exams, depends what route you take. The best way to prepare for them is to study and put the theory into practice with a home lab, for example.

A couple of sites you may want to see, would be:

    http://www.cisco.com/web/learning/le3/le2/le0/le9/learning_certification_type_home.html (exam paths & info)
    http://www.cramsession.com/certifications/cisco/ccna.asp (exam info)
    http://tcpmag.com/features/article.asp?EditorialsID=43 (news on sims)

    Hope this helps :)

    Greetings, James.

I moved your thread to the Cisco General forum because I thought the topic was more fitting here. Cheers. :)

    What Ken said...
I'll add, if you don't have much of a Cisco background or feel overwhelmed look at the 2-course route. In doing so, you'll also grab the ICND certification :)

See here. By the sounds of it, it sounds like a very similar format.
