cisco 1721

    I got this from a guy that got it from a guy, you get the idea. I didn't have a console cable so I made one. When i boot it will not allow a break signal or any input at all. I have tried to hard reset from the board inside nothing. I have pulled wics , nothing. hers is everything i get and cant get further than this by pressing anything. I have tried threatening it and , nothing

    umm first thing to check is that the application (HyperTerminal im guessing) are you connecting using 9600 as the baud rate - and is that the speed set on the actual router itself? and get a proper console cable i think this might be the problem as well.

    btw to break the boot sequence you need to press Ctrl-Break before the image starts loading.

    but i aint no expert so just try it out...
