I hope that was a joke Bluerinse. Either that or you've never been to the south of France. You can't even see the sand on the beaches down there.

No I wasn't joking Baba, just comparing it to the beaches around here. The Gold Coast has 45 miles of sandy beaches and most of the time there are only a few people in veiw

Does anyone have a rough idea how much a taxi would be from new street station to The Thistle Hotel in Edgbaston?

It's only a couple of miles mate so shouldn't be too much. In any case there are a few of stopping at that hotel, so I'm sure that we can share cabs etc. Either that or it's gonna be a hell of a pub crawl to find the restaurant.

prob like £5pounds if they are on the stand, a bit more if you flag them down...

just walk it! you'll gonna need to burn the booze off anyway, (prob 30 min walk or so (pending human traffic))

Hmmmm, I didn't suggest dressing up that was Wizard. I suggested a theme, more along the line of recognising each other!

But I take your point, Super Hero's. How about during the day a mild mannered IT Technition and by night a beer drinking curry eating Brummie :)

Sorry for the double post, I should have more than enough money to come to this now. Just agreed some more work with my agency, the kicker is though it still isn't doing what I really want but it means I'm now working for 20 more hours a week at £6+ an hour, so now I'll be doing 2 jobs totalling 57 hours a week, worth the sacrifice until christmas I think :)

Now there is an idea! I would also recommend name badges with your forum handle and real name.

I'm sure you could all knock your own up using The Gimp 8)
