Hi folks, Just at my girlfriends house at the moment. The keyboard layout on the OS is set to the US.... Therefore the number 2 whilst holding shift will give you the @ sign.

Anyway it can be switched back to the UK Layout in the OS(which is win xp pro i might add)???

    Regards

    Craig

It in control panel, under regional settings or something like that, the icon is similar to the world, then under regional options, i have no control panel to verify this.

remember to change to uk, then click apply and then under settings you can delete the other ones if you like, but im going by memory..

    Hope this helps

Control Panel -> Regional and Language options -> Languages tab -> Text services and input languages details.

There *should* be an English(United Kingdom) option there - if it is select it, if it isn't add it and select it.
