Oh well, the best laid plans of rodents and stumbling apes ...

No go for me this time. My better half has just let it slip that I should not be going away that weekend, with it being the one just after my birthday. Apparently a few friends are in town that I should catch up with ... when I pointed out the this can only mean my Bruv is coming over from Oz a week early and was going to surprise, she looked crestfallen that I had ruined it ... I covered and said but that couldn't happen because I know he is meant to be in NZ that weekend with our cousin ... but that made her panic even more ... it looks like I will have a houseful of my own.

Have fun, quaff a few for me (even though I drink coke!) and try not to get arrested.

As for me, I will join you all in a pub/bar (Union Rooms sounds best for me, although the Gate would be very ideal!) As for clubbing, I've packed that in for the time being so I dont think I will be hitting any nightclubs. Besides I wana get to know the lovely bunch from CF

And as someone else asked, what about our friends from Scotland?

 

I'm still struggling to find a job, so I'm still a provisional for this event.

 

I very much doubt I will be coming now, I need to wait untill payday exam payments are taking priority at the moment.

If I have the cash I'll be there, the big market needs my presence again apart from Yel were all the girls go in the lads toilets, thats some crazy pub.

Then let me be the first to ruin it for u...Yel is no longer open...it closed down about a year so ago...which is not surprising...no idea whats happened to it tho...maybe it had something to do with the lasses going into the lads toilets...yeah I remember those days

 

I though Ant & Dec bought it or was that some crazy rumor?

 

If they had that would be a good reason for me to go about 100 miles away....
