I finally got the time (and the nerve) to wade through this entire thread. I can tell you right now that if I ever make it to one of these things, I'm gonna have to rob a bank just to pay for the booze and will absolutely book a hotel right around the corner so I'll have some safe place to go and "sleep it off" afterwards.

It covers everything you need to know, from the best place to buy booze, what to drink (and where), Beer Versus Lager, Short or Pint?, the way home, which Kebab and much more.

 

Not forgetting he's an expert in finding a good chocolate ostrich
