Good Afternoon,

I am looking for ideas for backing up our CCTV footage that we have in the office. Basically there is no backup if the building was to blow up or crumble and everything will be lost.

I have been thinking maybe I could back up each days footage to an External Hard Drive and store this off site somewhere or maybe Cloud based but I don't know how to go about this.

Can anyone please advise?

As far as I know the CCTV is stored in the Comms Room in a rack on a Windows 7 PC.

 

Don't forget any data protection issues that may arise from the backup solution you choose.

Data Protection? Do you mean if this it to be stored off-site?
