Im currently CCNA certified and my certification explires in April next year.
Im considering taking the CCNA: Voiceand or Wireless certifications and Id like to know if anyone here knows if that if i pass one of these will that renew my standard CCNA cert?

More specifically -

CCNA certifications are valid for three years. To recertify, pass one of the following: any 640-xxx associate level exam, with the exception of ICND1 640-822; any 642-xxx professional level exam; any Cisco Specialist exam, excluding Sales Specialist exams; any CCIE written exam; or the CCDE written exam.

Therefore either will count towards recertification.

The CCNA Voice will renew your CCNA. But there is no point doing voice at all unless you actually work in Telecoms, as it will be very difficult. Unforutnatley there is alot more to voice then what the cisco curriculum covers. Dont forget the big players in voice are NICE Systems, Avaya, Nortel, Meridian. There are also dealer boards such as IPC, BT, Etrali. Cisco is just a very small part of the puzzel. Cisco needs to work hand in hand with the above systems.
