To avoid any confusion with my hex-binary-decimal calculations can I use a calculator in the 640-801 exam? I know I should not need to but just in case.

    Thanks

Having never taken the CCNA exam I can't really say, but what I do know is that on every Microsoft exam that I have ever taken there has been a calculator.

Nope, when i did my CCNA, no calculators were allowed. you will be given a pad and paper to work things out on.

    HTH, and good luck

    I don't think you can use a calculator, I didn't for mine.

Just use the pad and pen or plastic paper thing to write up your Hex, subnetting charts and powers of 2 before the exam starts you should be fine.
