Passed this morning. I've seen cisco remove peoples scores on their own site so I'll just say it was a comfortable pass.
Materials used:
McGraw Hill CCENT---Lot's of mistakes. The stripped down version of boson netsim blocks a lot of the practice exercises, which were also full of mistakes (I need to upgrade allegedly) so I gave up on it.

CCNA-Sybex (Todd Lammle)- Excellent book, only found one mistake so far.

Skillsoft CBT-supplied by work but also sold by Cisco.

The exam was a mix of pretty much every type of question outlined in the tutorial on the cisco website and before the exam.

The monitor started randomly blacking out after about 15 questions, which was very off-putting. It would only flick off for a second and only about once or twice every question so I decided to continue as I didn't want to have to start all over again. My score also didn't come up after the survey, as it should have, so I didn't find out if I'd passed until I went back to reception. That's the only time I've ever had any issues with the equipment/software at that testing centre (out of 9 exams I think) so I'll put this one down to a glitch.

The questions were the difficulty I expected and I never got any questions which I considered ambiguous so that was all good.
Unfortunately it's all a bit of an anti-climax. I'd put the work in so expected to pass, and would have been very disappointed if I hadn't so it was a bit of a no-win situation. Won't stop me having some beers tonight , after I finish my shift at 10 pm

ICND2 is taking a back-seat at the moment. I'm doing the 70-290 next to try to fill in some knowledge gaps regarding AD and server side configuration. After that I'll choose whether to finish off my MCSA, CCNA or MCITP:EDST
